ectomy1235 ::: Favorites yeah he does have feeling, i would say that i guess though his focus is on playing lots and lots of notes, i think i would rather hear good phrasing though, i think i just find his playing too technical and its always lots of notes, i know that is his style of playing and that is a certain type of playing, i think ive just got used to more jazz improvsation which is a different approach, yeah but he does have feeling, thanks for not abusing me about the comment 07-08-27 00:38:00 __________________________________________________

Because that would be a rather poor approximation...You're right, speed isn't everything, to be sure, but along with a few other notable players (JP, JS etc.), Vai can easily convey emotion through his playing slowly and quickly.
