Ibseninn ::: Favorites Anyway. Between each tick there goes a command, either the number 0 or 1. But what he also said is that if you touch the CPU it would be like touching a stovehub set on high. 07-07-30 06:57:00 _____________________________________________________
Ibseninn ::: Favorites This summer I went on this Collage class for teens and one of my subjects was computer science. There i was learing about codind and stuff (the binary sytem). The thing that my teacher said about CPU is that it reminds you of a clock, the thing that is alike with the CPU and a clock is that you hear both ticking. If I rembember correctly, between each tick, the light travels about 30 cm....... 07-07-30 06:56:35 _____________________________________________________

EatOoze ::: Favorites Why would you do that in the first place? 07-08-13 18:36:46 _____________________________________________________
Hom0Sapiens ::: Favorites at 00:34 the fan is not spinning, you just put it on the cpu and it works again? 07-07-07 11:08:15 _____________________________________________________
KireEsuark ::: Favorites hom0sapiens, thats because there is a heatsink attached to the fan, so when u put that heatsink on the cpu it takes a signifigant amount of heat away from the processer. The fan does not "blow" onto the cpu it sucks the hot air from the heatsink. 07-07-16 19:07:03 _____________________________________________________
Wraithdagger ::: Favorites The heatsink in itself is enough to disipate heat from the CPU. The fan just helps keep it even cooler. Oh and, midge, I don't think the AMD CPUs are gonna need fans after smoking like that. They're dead. ;) 07-07-18 19:17:58 _____________________________________________________
Hom0Sapiens ::: Favorites thanks now I understand ;) you were very useful. I tought that the heatsink wasn't enough to dissipate heat.. 07-07-19 12:52:54 _____________________________________________________
Gobby1986 ::: Favorites I didn't want the star rating on my processor but thanks for throwing that in... I can't manualy optimize my fan speed setting or anything like that, it's set and can't be played through BIOS or with software on my HD's. All I wanted to know really was what needs replacing to make this problem go away! Thanks for the effort though ;) Ash 07-07-06 02:14:46 _____________________________________________________
athlonz2007 ::: Favorites gobby1986, first it not an AMD intel celeron, it a Intel celeron, by the way celeron is the worst processor and if the fan do not start, do not start the computer, let it power cuted off or it will reach very high temperature, sure the heatsink itself will help but it actually need a fan so it will reach temp like 140 Celsious, 07-06-28 13:13:20 _____________________________________________________
Gobby1986 ::: Favorites God I'm having that kind of problem with my fan still on... it's an AMD Intel Celeron D 2.53Ghz... The fan sometimes forgets to start up when the CPU is heating up. Any ideas on how this problem can be rectafied? I've cleaned the fan out out and added CPU paste but nothing seems to be working! 07-06-23 12:18:19 _____________________________________________________
untouchedninja ::: Favorites lol thats so funny reading lords post and thinking wow someone doesnt get out enough. its kind of like when you ask someone a computer question and they come out saying "11010110101. Its very simple a cave man could do it." lord not everyone is as smart as you so please dont speak for everyone. 07-06-22 15:48:03 _____________________________________________________
