sorry about that...I thought I did. I mention on that video that they used "trickery" to prove God was real. I think in the original version, I explained that, but I must have cut it out to fit the 10 minute time limit. What they did was they had a clear pitcher of water and a plastic pitcher. They poored the water into the pitcher and back again and the clear water turned red. The plastic picture had koolaid powder in the bottom.

It's good to know someone who can see the differences. You don't have to omit all fault with someone in order to love them, and you don't have to omit all credit with someone in order to hate them.

Sadly, the answers are (in order): I don't know. I don't know. She probably supported their decision. And to my knowledge, it didn't bother her a bit...she probably thought it was a good thing to say. Don't get me wrong, I love her immensely, but I'll never understand her bigotry or religious fanatism...outside of those two flaws, she's a wonderful woman.

That's insane, man. I couldn't imagine. I do have a question though: After all that happened, why did your granny continue going? Why did she decide to have the funeral there? Was it just the familiar fellowship or did she believe that nonsense? Was she as upset at that comment as you were?

Thank you for sharing your experience. Preaching Christian beliefs does no good without some down-to-earth sensitivity. My mother got kicked out of the church after bringing in some Asian kids and told us to forgive. That kind of religious rigidity gives people the impression God doesn't care, and that's just not true.

It's too bad someone at the funeral didn't just go up to the podium, push that #%@*& down to the ground and do what should have been done - sing your grandfather's praises (so to speak). What a horrible thing for you and your family to go through.
