I know there are nutcases out there that would do that kind of thing but the apparent circumstances of this case i.e. some shopkeepers beating up some thieves then I'd be very surprised if that happened so openly in a western democracy. Honestly this kind of thing is so common in developing countries, and was common in the recent past in the West too (strike breakers, race riots, police brutality). goldenboy06 ::: Favorites I've been to Japan. I'm sure it's completely different and more civilized than China. I used to work in a chinese restaurant. Those chefs were really unfriendly and sullen. They were bloody hard workers though...unfortunately the female proprietor decided to fire me one day just out of the blue for no good reason. Terrible people skills...and the wages were awful too.
