parymich777 ::: Favorites the incidents mentioned in the bible show that it is greed for money or gain that is the sin. for the most part that is the main purpose for gambling and based on that alone would make it wrong. But games of chance are not gambling unless money is involved. I play poker but no money, does that mean I sin? I put winnings in the collection Sunday morning (they know I do). Low stakes, a big winner is $40 to $50 for the night. $50 is nothing for any of these guys (I do their estate plans). I give the same contribution to the church as always (budgeted last Dec.) I talk about Jesus to these guys during play and at breaks that would be impossible at work.
