At the end, she said she would let her son do it again, even if she knew he would be killed. She asked if she - and other mothers - didn't send their sons, who would protect them? Protect them from whom? This "martyr" was killed by US/Iraqi forces. Do they see the US and Iraqi forces as the enemy? Where was this guy's allegiance? This video creates more questions than it answers.

voiyour, I agree Ali was killed because he attacked US/Iraqi forces at a Police station if I understood the story correctly.

How very sad. I wouldn't want my son to go and I would try to stop him. I wouldn't want my son to be killed by trying to protect me. I'd be willing to die, too, if that were a choice. I feel very sorry for Muslim women. They are caught in a terrible situation.

Ummm it's great that you posting this type of material and I truely thank you for it, but the fact the WHOLE VIDEO had a voice over really sucked... It was supposed to be about a mother and her son's death. But the director comes across as "me! me! look what I'm doing, look what I'm showing"

I think the idea behind the video is interesting, but the execution was amateurish and arrogant. Who ever is narrating the video would rather spill his own self-righteous commentary over the woman's explanation than let her speak for herself with the undivided attention of the viewer.
