Um. I'm actually reading a book right now called "A brief history of the human race" by michael cook. The whole first part is on the neolithic revolution...

for instance, if you decided tomorrow that you wanted to help cure AIDS, you could start teaching yourself biology tomorrow, for fuckin free via MIT's opencourseware page (ALL their course literature online for no charge at ocw.mit(dot)edu/OcwWeb/web/courses/courses/), and if you made it your mission, you could get someone's attention at a lab and get your ideas out there.

things can depend on the consequences of our actions man! the answers not to go back. those were isolated and lonely times. you lived for your family and immediate neighbors, and never had an impact outside that small circle. today, for all the bad, there's the chance for so much good.
