Christians DID supports George Bush (Senior), who DID say that atheists aren't real Americans, and shouldn't be thought of as citizens. Is that paranoia? The point is that religion has absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to do with moral behavior. Morality is instinctive -- we don't need to learn it from a 3500 year old book of fairy tales that glorifies slavery, war, and genocide (have you ever read Numbers or Joshua?
