Unfortunately, as in Africa, it is always the poorest and most vulnerable who depend on our help. I am so glad to hear that the money goes to benefit those in need in parts of Africa. I assume that the money goes to aid a specific group of people/children, or a specific area with Africa. marilyon98 ::: Favorites It is my understanding that the money first goes to here-event's charity-CPEF.This organization is run by Simon Fuller and others-Then the named charities -UNICEF, etc. have to fill out grant requests and wait for them to be APPROVED! I think using a middleman, as emerson032 stated, eats into the funds-and there is probably a waiting time. richmondstef ::: Favorites My brother does the sound for the same African Children's Choir that was on Idol and he is a shaperone. He doesn't get any kind of salary. He works for free and ALL his expenses come from friends and family.
