It was meant to be carried in the field and used in a moments notice. The Browning MG will take no back seat to any WW2 MG, still in use today all over the world. The Germans were taking the lessons from their people in combat and truely trying to help them. The American bureacracy was a pain in the ass. Old ideas by closed minded people.
