I'm so jealous of her! I would be freaking out if Sondheim taught me one of his songs. I was working on "What More Do I Need?" and whenever my teacher would be picky I'd get pissed. But then I realized that if I were working on it with Sondheim he'd be way way way more nit-picky! I adore him. (and I find him really, really sexy)

Never mind the fact that the singer is far too young to be singing the song ... Mr. Sondheim is awesome as a Master Class instructor. Can you just imagine having Verdi or Beethoven working with you on their music. I loved it when Sondheim said "It's my fault."

It astonishes me that we classify weither the song is to old or to young for someone to sing. The fact is this young woman (I'd like to know who she is) sang beautifully. What a teacher to critique her singing, I say Brava you have a gorgeous voice and what people need to remember is that age isn't a factor when you are offered to sing it by Sondheim. Brava.

I agree she has a beautiful voice and so what shes younger. I can tell you that at that age a person can have gone through just as much if not more than an older adult.

Great to see this actress, Jaye Griffiths, singing. More familiar with seeing her starring in "The Bill", "Bugs" and other shows on TV.

I can honestly say I agree, she has a beautiful voice and one can't take that away. I agree I was 38 when I lost my husband thru illness and I can tell you that song hits you and makes you reevaluate your own life.

It is, isn't it? The song is about an old married couple having problems. She's talented as hell, but way too young for such a role.
