Description:
Here is a reply to ontrashakotra's latest music video. This is what I came up with: 130bpm, intro section = 9 measures, verse section = 8 measures, chorus section = 8 measures, post-chorus section = 8 measures, repeat starting at the verse, solo = 12 measures, big E chord 2 measures, then outro using the intro riff. |

ontrashakotra ::: Favorites yes I have been wishing I had written the mode inside the video. I wish I could edit what I upload :D The octaves part you're soloing in slips around between B mixolydian and A lydian. The verses act like that in B mixolydian too. The acoustic part is also B mixolydian. 07-06-22 02:32:15 _____________________________________________________
snouter ::: Favorites Cool. So I think that little riff I did along with the acoustic section was theoretically using some appropriate notes. 07-06-22 02:50:34 _____________________________________________________
ontrashakotra ::: Favorites yeah and it was shaping up well. C# (as it's tuned on my guitars) Dorian is a minor. C# Aeolian is the minor that would have had all the notes. The octaves part is B,A,C#,B B,A,E,B B,A,Ab,B and the big one that ends the octaves is E. 07-06-22 03:02:24 _____________________________________________________
ontrashakotra ::: Favorites I wrote that ^ to look like those B's get re-strummed for each cycle. It's more like it dunks down to the A's to restart the riffs. That's what I mean about the awkward slipping around with the A and the B. 07-06-22 03:04:50 _____________________________________________________
Pookieftw ::: Favorites Snouter. I really enjoyed this video because it had so many good things going for it. Not only did you do a great job on adding your own style to it but you made it like a tutorial. Fantastic. I've download his song to so I can mess around with it but I don't play guitar so I can't give it the life you did. Thanks for sharing. 07-06-22 21:35:14 _____________________________________________________
